The Tokyo Disney Sea

My son, my wife and I went to the Tokyo Disney Sea on Saturday, July 16.
This was the first time we went there. We went to the Tokyo Disneyland four years ago. We had a good time at that time. But this time, we enjoyed it more than before because my son was too young to join in all the attractions before. He can enjoy more now.

My son likes the Storm Rider best. The special plane which we ride goes into the center of the storm.
My wife and I like the Mystic Rhythm, the dance and music show in the jungle. Spirits of the jungle dance with music. The dance is fascinating and the music is vivid. The musicians play beside the stage. We were very much impressed.
We went to most of the attractions. The waiting line was shorter than I thought. The longest line we waited on was about 40 minutes.

The night show at the centre lake was also impressive. Fireworks and big fountain ballets played with music. They played together very well and fantastically. The producers and staff must have worked hard and designed it all very well. Their work is worthy of praise.

We entered at ten in the morning and exited at ten at night. We enjoyed the whole day.

Will Call

Our flight plan was decided. The schedule has been set.

Then I checked Yankees Web site to buy tickets. Our travel agency has a ticket service for Yankee stadium. But they offer almost three times higher than the list price on the web for the same sheet.

I understand they need to take handle fee or some service charge but I feel it is much more than that.

They have Japanese guided tour as an option. If it include in this three times price, I slightly understand. But it adds 20 USD for each person more.

So I decided to get tickets on the Web via will call for plain ticket. They offer will call for international costumer. I spent for getting them almost regular price. Just I go to the ticket booth and show my ID and credit card which I entered, then I can get real tickets. It is convenient and easy. Moreover, it is good deal.

According to the web, they also offer printing ticket electronically. After purchasing the ticket, they send electronically. The buyer prints and bring it to the stadium. It works as a ticket. How smart it is. Unfortunately, it is available only in the US.

I hope it will be available for international customer.

Mileage

I have a credit card with mileage. I have been using this card long time.

As I buy something with this card, I earn some mileage with a certain ratio. Of course, actual flight mileage is added when I take this airline. Fortunately, I had two business trips to overseas in this five years.
Once I spent this mileage on my private trip to Singapore. Still some remained and has been added little by little. I have some amount of mileage now.

This time, my mileage is enough to get one Japan US round-trip.
So it helps our family trip budget much.

Using mileage credit card for every day life is useful.

Take me out to the ball game

My wife and I are planning to go to the US in this summer. But the schedule is up in the air as of now. We have to decide soon.

The first purpose is to show my son to his born place. My son was born in the US. We came back to Japan some years ago after staying a couple of years in the US.

The second purpose is to see MLB game near. My son likes baseball very much, playing and seeing both. We can watch the major league game via satellite TV. But seeing major league baseball game directly must be exciting. Some Japanese baseball players are playing in the major league. Especially Matsui is one of his favorite players. We would visit Yankee Stadium and see Matsui.

If Matsui gets hits in the game, we will never forget.
